| My
Hanger of planes! In order of Newest to Oldest.
Mini Speed Wing Power: direct drive IPS with 3 by 2 prop Battery: Thunder Power 860 2 cell weight: 6.7 ounces Performance: flies perfectly with this setup, easily over 20 minutes of cruising around. very fun plane to fly. doesn't seem to like wind though.
Dandy GT Power: AXI 2212/34 with a 10-7 prop Battery: Thunder Power 2100 3 cell Weight: about 16 ounces Performance: barely goes vertical but still has tons of power. the large batteries offer over 20 minutes of flight! very fun plane to fly, this one handles the wind the best of all my planes.
Dandy Sport Power: AXI 2212-34 with a 10-7 prop Battery: Thunder Power 2100 3 cell Weight: about 16 ounces Performance: flies nicely at half throttle. with the big battery offers over 30 minutes of flight! (it flies longer then the GT because I can fly this at 1/3 throttle where I cant the dandy GT). broke the fuse so I'm just using the fuse from my GT.
Aerial Photography Slow Stick Power: Nippy Black 1812/100 with 10-4.7 prop Battery: Tanic 2200 3 cell Weight: with camera about 32 ounces, with camera and downlink gear about 38 ounces, w/out camera about 18 ounces Performance: unlimited vertical without the camera. with the camera is still has plenty of power! climb at over a 50 degree climb out. very fun to fly. Camera used for pictures is a Kodak Easy share CX 6330. its a 3 mega pixel CCD image sensor camera. downlink gear is a 600 mw system from black widow AV. flies for well over 30 minutes without the camera.
Tiger Moth Power: Stock IPS with 9-7 prop Battery: TP 860 2 cell Weight: about 9.7 ounces performance: its a tiger moth! usual performance, slow, predictable, fun to fly on slow days. for some reason I can only get about 15 minutes of flight before the voltage on my battery gets to low to lift the plane up. seems horribly underpowered. time for an upgrade!
